VA and other Government hospitals may not have a proper parking pad, electrical connection, secure data or phone lines to the parking area, and safe and secure access to the Mobile Trailers.
Patients need a safe and secure access to the Mobile Trailers that will afford that access in all weather conditions.
We have the technical and management staff to provide necessary Site Preparation and modifications for the Government.
Scope of Prep
Construction of level Concrete Pads for the Main Wheels of the trailer as well as a pad for the landing legs that specifically can support the weight of the Mobile unit. This includes site survey to ensure that ferrous metal does not interfere with the operation of the Mobile Imaging equipment. These pads will be constructed IAW the trailer and MRI Manufacturer’s Site Specification Guides that are published for every Mobile Imaging trailer
Creating a walkway or ramp as needed from the Hospital to the Mobile Trailer pad that is ADA compliant. This walkway must accommodate ambulatory patients, wheel chair patients and stretcher patients.
Create an awning cover over the walkway that is designed to meet the access doors of the Mobile unit to allow safe and secure patient transport in all weather conditions.
Coordinate the completion of the Site preparation prior to the arrival of the Mobile Trailer so that scanning of patients can begin on a timely basis.
Electrical prep
Establishing and connecting 480v ac power from the hospital to a Russell Stohl connector, and Emergency power disconnect, adjacent to the Mobile unit parking pad.
Establishing secure Cat V data lines from the hospital data terminals to enable transmission of electronic DICOM compatible images from the Trailer to the Hospital PACS system. This data connection is critical to complying with Patient Privacy Act and HIPPA
